Laurel Co-op Website

As the Technology Officer for the Laurel Cooperative in Austin, I led the creation and maintenance of the co-op’s official website. This project was more than just a technical task; it was about capturing the spirit of a collaborative community and providing a vital resource for its members. The website served as a central hub for event coordination, member onboarding, and internal communication. My role involved not only the front-end and back-end development but also managing the overall technology operations, ensuring the site was consistently available and secure. This position also entailed leadership responsibilities, such as organizing collective house meetings, facilitating consensus-based decision-making, and resolving conflicts. The website became a key tool in fostering a collaborative culture and successfully integrating new members into our vibrant community.
