Sean Hardesty Lewis

I am an M.S. student at Cornell Tech's Urban Tech Hub, where I am fortunate to be advised by Dr. Wendy Ju and Dr. Anthony Townsend.

I develop world models that connect perception to planning, enabling what-if reasoning and reliable action for autonomous systems and human decision-makers. My work advances model-based planning, generative simulation, and uncertainty-aware decision support. I aim for methods that transfer across sensor-rich and simulated settings, including cities, facilities, digital environments, and multi-agent tasks, and release open tools, datasets, and evaluations to accelerate adoption and reproducibility.

Previously, I received my B.S. in Mathematics from UT Austin, where I was part of the Urban Information Lab and advised by Dr. Junfeng Jiao.

Please feel free to connect with me here if you'd like to chat.
